Upon landing at the airport, your friendly guides Mohamed and Michelle will be eagerly waiting to whisk you away to your beautiful Riad, where you'll be staying for the night in the historical heart of the old Medina. 

Once you've checked in and settled into your delightful accommodations, take a moment to relax and unwind. Marrakech to Ouarzazate

Tuesday, October 14

Rise to a beautiful sunrise and a wonderful Moroccan breakfast before you begin your journey. Today we start our journey to the desert.  We will make several stops along our way as we travel to Ouarzazate and our riad for the evening.  You will have a chance to tour Ait ben Haddou and learn the history of this World Heritage Site. Afterwords check into your riad for the evening and have dinner in the Riad.

9:00 - 1:00 - Drive to Quarzazate

1:00 - 2:30 - Lunch on your own

2:30 - 4:30 - Tour Ait Ben Haddou

Ouarzazate to The Sahara

Wednesday, October 15

Today we journey into the desert.  After a wonderful Moroccan breakfast we begin out to make our way to the desert.   We will make several stops along the way for beautiful photos and for lunch. Once in M'hamid the road ends and the desert begins.  

It is here that we meet our guides from Adventures Desert. Mohamed and his team will be with us for our adventure into the Sahara.  The team at Adventures Desert call the desert home. Over the next 3 days they will share their knowledge, stories and traditions with you. Mohamed and his team go above and beyond to show their guests the tradition of hospitality the people of the Sahara are known for. They make the desert a magical experience. 

Prepare to be spellbound as Mohamed and his team transform the desert into a magical landscape filled with adventure and warmth. Once we reach M'Hamid, we’ll transition to rugged 4x4 vehicles, embarking on an exhilarating ride through the sands to our luxurious desert camp, which will be your haven for the next three nights. Get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Rise early to witness an inspiring sunrise over the Sahara Dunes this morning.  After breakfast we will take a ride through the dunes by camel.  Afterwards rest, journal or practice a little mediation in the dunes before lunch.  After lunch deep dive into some healing work with Refaela and Sara.

The Sahara

Friday, October 17

This morning take in another beautiful sunrise over the golden dunes of the Sahara before you start your day. Today after breakfast we set out to visit a nomadic family living the traditional way in the desert close to the mountains. Afterwards we will be treated to a desert picnic from your guides with Adventures Desert. Nestled under a tamarisk tree we will dine on a beautiful lunch prepared by our guides. Witness how bread is baked in the sand and learn the traditions of Moroccan tea. After lunch we will return to our camp for an evening of healing work, dinner and dancing.

• 10:00 - Visit to Nomad camp and Picnic lunch

• 4:00 - 7:00 Healing work shop

• 7:00 - Sundown time and Sand boarding

• Please bring scarf to cover your shoulders if needed while visiting the nomad camp

• Please bring a small gift for the women and children of the nomad camp like candy, some coins, paper and crayons for the children and small gift for the women.  

• The women of the Nomad camp make things to sell. It would be nice to purchase something from them, but you are not obligated to do so.  

The Sahara to Agdez

This morning after breakfast we embark on our journey to the Draa Valley and the Palm Oasis. We will have the opportunity to stop in the village of M'Hamid and visit a local family for tea before we travel north to Agdiz and your Kasbah for the next 3 nights.

Today's Itinerary:

 8:00 - 9:00 - Breakfast (included)

 9:00  - Travel to M'Hamid visit with Family and transfer to your van. Please don't  forget to tip your Adventures Desert Guides. Please see tipping guide for more information on the culture of tipping and how much to tip  

 1:00  -  Lunch (on your own)

5:00 -  Arrive to your Kabah

8:00 -  Dinner (included)

Relax in the beauty of the Palm Oasis and Kasbah Hanini. Today you will have the opportunity to sit back and relax and take it a spa treatment or two. A must do while you are here is to experience a Hammam.

We will make several stops along the way to stretch our legs and take in the breathtaking scenery before we arrive in Marrakech and our hotel for the evening.  We will have our final farewell dinner to talk over all we have learned from the remarkable journey
